Band of today: Godflesh (and Justin K. Broadrick)!

"Godflesh was an Industrial Metal band from Birmingham, England formed in 1988 by Justin K. Broadrick (guitar, vocals and programming) and G. C. Green (bass). The band is highly regarded as one of the pioneers of Industrial Metal. The group disbanded in 2002". - Taken from Wikipedia.

Justin K. Broadrick was also a founder member of
Napalm Death in 1985 and appeared on the A-side of the band's debut album "Scum". He has been playing in numerous bands such as Final (1982 - present), Head of David (1986 - 1991) and Techno Animal (1990 - in hiatus until today) since before and after his depature from Napalm Death in 1987. Then Jesu (2003 - present) is the newly one of his current acts.

+ And why Godflesh? The band have been so inspiring since when I first heard about them up until now. What's so inspiring about them anyway? Okay, to cut short of the babbling; for more informations concerning to Godflesh, Justin K. Broadrick and some related subjects, please go here, here, here, here, here, here and here. So, that's about it...

Allright, this is the self titled EP "Godflesh" that was originally released in 1988 through Swordfish Records contained 6 songs, but later reissued as an album by Earache Records in 1990 with two additional tracks. This is one hell of a cult album in the Industrial Metal genre and must have for anyone that into Experimental or Avant-garde stuffs. Though, its extremely heavy pounding of slowest sounds which indeed hypnotic sometimes being able to cause a bit of neurotic disorder towards the listener. You've been warned!
